Cal Poly International Workshops
Cal Poly has expanded its portfolio of International Workshops for Summer 2017. The workshops are coordinated by Associate Professor Eltahry Elghandour, who launched them in 2015 with a group of international college students participating in robotics, civil engineering and mechanical engineering sessions. The success of the previous hands-on workshops is the reason that Professor Elghandour has expanded the offerings for 2017 to more majors and college students from any nation.
Benefits of participating in the program include:
- Getting a more global academic perspective
- Experiencing hands-on activities in your field of study
- Exploring opportunities for graduate studies in the U.S.
- Receiving credits and a Cal Poly certificate of participation
- Becoming familiar with life in central California
- Enjoying California's fun opportunities
These workshops are offered for a period of one month, and you will receive one (1) credit (CEU) for every 10 hours of participation. You will also receive a certificate from Cal Poly for your participation.
